Q: What if I forget my password?

A: We are human and it happens. If you forget your password, just contact Customer Care by calling 222 or 0260000222 to get your Zap password reset. A Customer Care representative will need to verify your account with the information you provided during the registration process. Make sure the data you provide matches with what is on your registration form. After successful verification, your password will be reset to default 1234 and you will receive an SMS confirmation.

For security purposes, you will not be able to conduct any further activity unless you change the default password to 4 digits of your choice.

Q: What if I lose my phone?

A: Who among us hasn’t? But no worries, Zap is safe even if you lose your phone. All your transactions are protected by the highest level of security and passwords. You can replace your SIM card through any of the Zain Customer Care facilities.

Your Zap Money will be immediately available to you following completion of your SIM card replacement. If you have further questions, please contact Customer Care by calling 222 or 0260000222 to speak with a Zain Ghana Customer Care representative.
